Reason why Uthama Villain teaser was Deleted ?

Kamal Haasan's next magnum opus Uthama Villain shoot is almost over and the exclusive teaser of the film was released on July 5th and immediately went viral that very night. But the makers surprised everyone by deleting the teaser the very next day. 

Sources report that certain section of critics and fans opined that the teaser was very similar to an old TV commercial (Nizam Pakku) and this could be the reason the makers decided to remove the teaser completely. The director of the film Ramesh Arvind however clarified stating, “The teaser was released at the event, we don’t want to release it online. We are now working on the trailer, which will be out very soon.” 

It's worth mentioning that the film's poster also drew flak for being inspired by an Photograph.
