It's known that Sunny Leone was reported to be the first choice for an item number in Director Kannan's Oru Oorla Rendu Raja starring Vemal, Priya Anand and Soori. The Bollywood babe has however been replaced by Vaagai Sooda Vaa girl Iniya, The director reasoned out the choice stating "She can pull of the dance number without making it looking vulgar".
The item number which has been sung by actress Lakshmi Menon will be shot in a decorated lorry, on the Dindigul-Chennai highway, for three days next week. Director Kannan said "I wanted someone who could convey emotions with facial expressions. I was considering a couple of names. Ineya is a trained dancer, and she can easily pull off the dance number without making it look vulgar."
