Actress Shruti Haasan is making huge strides in Bollywood, The actress who is currently into Welcome Back with John Abraham is now also in contention for the remake of 80's classic Shaukeen with Akshay Kumar after Nargis Fakhri walked out. Shruti is currently facing a head to head with Shraddha Kapoor of Aashiqui 2 fame “Both actresses have the bulk dates required for Shaukeen. We are yet to take a final call on it,” says a source close to the film.
“Shruti is already doing a film with John Abraham. She has read the script of Shaukeen and has given her consent. Our fingers are crossed,” says a source close to Shruti. While Shraddha’s schedule looks packed with the schedule of Haider and her film with Siddharth Malhotra, she too has ensured she has bulk dates for this film. Now let’s see who among the two wins the filmi race.
