Karthi gets a Rajinikanth title

Actor Karthi's next is officially with Director Ranjith of Attakathi fame. After dropping out of Director Hari's Aruva there were numerous rumors on what Karthi's next would be, However the discussions have now been put to rest with this official confirmation.

The movie has been titled Kaali (tentative title) and actress Catherine Tresa of recently released Tollywood movie Iddaramayilatho will be playing the female lead in the movie. The director has revealed plans to complete the movie in a single shooting schedule. Studio Green will be producing the movie which is said to based on North Chennai backdrop with a reality film on the lines of Karthi's biggest movie till date Paruthiveeran.
