The Reason why Theatres have stopped Advance Booking for Thalaivaa movie ?

Some Major theatres in Chennai Like Mayajaal, Sangam, Kasi and Abirami along with few other theatres have suddenly stopped the advance booking for Vijay's Thalaivaa movie which is slated for release on 9th of August.

When contacted the multiplex owners , They refused to comment on the sudden stop, but they revealed that the they are waiting from official confirmation from the Producer's side. There is also a news that Nine theatres in Chennai have already received bomb threats from anti-social groups on Thalaivaa release.

Though the theatres have Police protection, we understand that these bookings will resume only after proper assurance is given from the government.

However Vijay and Director A.L Vijay have once again reassured that the movie has nothing to do with the politics and have asked people to not believe any rumors.
