National Award Winning Director SP Jananathan who gave the big break to Jiiva through Ee and Jayam Ravi with Peranmai is once again back with a bang. Yes the esteemed director as completed the pre-production works for the movie which has been titled as "PURAMPOKKU".

UTV are said to produce the movie which will witness Jayam Ravi teaming up with Vijay Sethupathi for the first time. Jiiva was the first choice along with Jayam Ravi however the chance has gone instead to the fast rising Vijay Sethupathi.
