Reason Why Surya Chose Linguswamy over Gautham Menon

We all know that Gautham Menon was supposed to direct Suriya in 'Thuppariyum Anand' , Gautham himself confirmed it during the promotions of 'Neethane En Ponvasantham' in various TV channels , but it looks like the hit duo is unlikely to join hands much to the disappointment of their fans.

There are various reasons which are being attributed to this , sources say that since Suriya was unsure of his next project after 'Singam -2 ' he kept both Linguswamy and Gautham who approached him for his dates.He kept both of them on hold , Due to this Gautham went ahead and discussed this project with few other leading actors.This apparently didn't go well with Suriya who decided to back out.It looks like Suriya has given the green signal to his project with Samantha which is to be directed by Linguswamy. This is not good news for fans of this pair, It was Gautham who gave Suriya his much needed break with 'Kaakha Kaakha' and later followed it up with another blockbuster through 'Vaaranam Aayiram' .We hope that they sort their issues and return to what they do best which is creating magic on screen.
