Linguswamy to Gautham Vasudev Menon's Rescue ?

The suspense surrounding Surya's next after Singham-2 is growing even larger these days.There might be another twist in the tale involving Surya,Linguswamy and Gautham. We had reported earlier that Surya has chosen Linguswamy's movie over Gautham's ,now what should be noted is that, Gautham had let go of Surya because Linguswamy has requested him to direct another movie under his Thirupathi Brothers production house and  now we all know that Gautham after his Neethane En Ponvasantham's debacle has had several bad runs with various production companies and has found it very difficult to attract a producer. Linguswamy was sort of saving grace for Gautham and therefore He had no choice other than to let go of surya. .

Linguswamy has apparently asked Gautham to direct the remake of the Bollywood hit Special 26 and re-stabilize his career first because there is already a safe zone as the story was already a hit in bollywood and therefore reduces the risk level  in Tamil.
