Director Bala - A Legend Or a Maniac ?

Controversies and Kollywood have become the thickest of friends in 2013.
Controversies are only getting better every month,  they seem to be creating a buzz around the release of a particular film, be it negative or positive film makers don't care about it as long as it's creating unpaid publicity for their film.

Bala has identified this tactic and recently released a reality teaser of Paradesi on YouTube. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FtTgUIvn2Q4This teaser has managed to create quite a stir not only with the fans,  but also within the industry circles as well.  Many actors,  directors and producers have voiced their opinion on Twitter.This is what few celebs said on Twitter

Bala is not a new comer to the film fraternity,  he is an acclaimed national award winning director who has won several praises from people belonging to cinema world over. Surya and Vikram were given their first major break from him, likewise Arya and Vishal were the leads in Bala 's recent films. No one until now have voiced any sort of negative opinion about the director. With the video going viral on the social media and with directors and actors condemning this act by Bala in the teaser,  this opens a whole new debate on whether people in the cine industry aren't aware that directors use such methods to extract performances  or are they against such an act. The lead actress of the film had tweeted :

can't believe that people mistook Bala sir's reality trailer of PARDESI n I'm shocked to see our own fratenity people's sarcastic comments.

With people claiming that it is a fake stick which is being used and it is not wrong on Bala's part to enact scenes to extract performances.It is upto you fans to decide on whether this entire issue has been blown out of proportion and Should Bala deserve more respect from the film industry considering he has made Tamil Cinema proud on various occasions.

Following the reality teaser which stormed off a huge controversy , A Human Rights Commission from Coimbatore as now filled a case against Director Bala for violence against his actors.
Will the kollywood fraternity showcase the same support it did for Kamal Haasan during Vishwaroopam or will Bala be left alone to face his own battle ?
